Successful integration within Raben Group Germany

2015.06.01
The acquisition of HRL Eurocargo and Syntra Transport Gesellschaft by Raben Trans European Germany has now been completed with a registration in the German trade register. HRL Eurocargo and Syntra Transport Gesellschaft has traded with immediate effect under Raben Trans European Germany GmbH. In this way Raben Group expands its business activities by a further location in the north of Germany (Stuhr near Bremen).
In December 2014, Raben Group acquired a Bremer logistics provider. Up to now HRL has operated under their known brandname and the change of name marks the final and effective phase of the merger.  We are glad that the acquisition within Raben Trans European Germany has been successfully completed and also that we have overcome the final obstacles. Especially our customers will benefit from the merger and the additional location”, says Ewald Raben, Raben Group’s CEO. Raben Group entered the German logistics market in 2005 taking over Birkart Systemverkehre. Since then, the last acquisition has comprised the takeover of Wincanton’s road network in Germany. Raben Trans European Germany has now more than 23 branches throughout the whole Germany with the total of 270,000 m² warehouse capacity and more than 1,400 employees at its disposal. “Based on this successful integration our customers can fall back on their usual contact person and at the same time place reliance on our comprehensive array of services further pursued by the networking   – adds Holger Siebrands, former HRL Managing Director, current Depottypo3/#_msocom_1  Manager in Bremen
