17 European countries, 90 years of experience, around 2,000,000 m2 of warehousing space, over 170 locations - a truly impressive history and scale of operations.

Still, Raben Group is not about numbers, but about people: an international team of over 12,200 employees, full of energy and passion for logistics, driven by similar ambitions and believing in the same values.

We provide contract logistics services, domestic and international distribution, fresh logistics, FTL and intermodal transport for customers operating in various branches. Everyday, we join them on the road, and we not only mean delivering the goods from point A to point B, but rather reaching long-term goals, building partnerships and positive relations. All this translates into a unique value that we share with our customers by creating and providing comprehensive and customised logistics solutions.

What sets us apart from other logistics companies?

From a small Dutch farm to a European logistics network

It all began in 1931 in Winterswijk, the Netherlands, when Jan W. Raben started transporting local farmers’ goods to nearby markets. It was a simple business, built on hard work, reliability, and close relationships.

Over the following decades, the company remained a family business, growing steadily under the next generation while staying true to its roots. But the real turning point came in the early 1990s, when a young Ewald Raben made a bold decision — to leave the Netherlands and move to Poland, a country full of uncertainty but also opportunity.

In 1991, with a small team and strong determination, he established the Polish branch. It was the beginning of something much bigger: the transformation of a local transport company into an international logistics player. Step by step, new countries joined the network, and Raben Group expanded across Europe.

Despite this growth, we have never lost our identity — remaining a family-owned business, focused on long-term partnerships, trust, and a very human approach to logistics.

We aim to be a trendsetter in our sector by providing added value through sustainable solutions.

Why is the Raben Group the right partner for both small and large companies?

The Raben Group combines the scale of an international operator with the flexibility needed in everyday business. This makes it a partner for both dynamically growing SMEs and large organizations operating in multiple markets.

1. International network and local support

By cooperating with Raben, small and medium-sized companies gain the opportunity to enter new markets without having to build their own logistics infrastructure. Local presence in many European countries means simpler export and import.
Large companies, in turn, receive consistent service in many countries, uniform standards, and a single international logistics strategy.

2. Comprehensive range of services

Road transport, warehousing, contract logistics, additional services – all these services await our customers.
We are one partner instead of several subcontractors. Less coordination, less paperwork, greater transparency.
Large companies gain the ability to centralize their supply chain and integrate multiple logistics processes with a single operator.

3. Operational scalability

Small and medium-sized companies gain flexibility during seasonal sales increases. They can develop and grow without having to invest in warehouses, fleets, or additional resources. We provide large customers with the ability to handle large volumes, international projects, and complex supply chains.

4. Modern technological solutions

Digital tools for shipment monitoring, document management, and data analysis, such as myRaben, facilitate the work of every customer, regardless of size.
SMEs gain free access to advanced tools without investing in their own IT systems.
We offer large customers the possibility of integration with ERP systems, process automation, and full operational transparency. We build tailor-made processes.

5. Partnership approach

We provide SMEs with individual support, flexibility in setting terms of cooperation, and the feeling that the company is not “too small” to be taken seriously. Every customer is important to us, and we want to grow together with them.

For large companies, cooperation with us can become a strategic partnership. We build long-term relationships based on cooperation and trust. We offer our customers the opportunity to plan development together and reliable cooperation based on SLAs and KPIs.

6. Stability and responsibility

Our more than 90 years of experience in the logistics industry and our approach based on sustainable development and corporate responsibility make us a reliable and honest partner. We meet corporate standards, ESG, and the requirements of international contracts.
