“Over the last years we have been constantly delighting children with gifts for the holidays and I hope this will leave pleasant memories in the soul of every child,” — comments Inna Ocheretna, CEO of Raben Ukraine.
The idea of celebrating Giving Tuesday on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving originated in the United States in 2012. Millions of people around the world annually hold various events for the benefit of charitable organizations and disseminate this information on social networks with the call to do good for those who need it most.
Ukraine joined the global Giving Tuesday movement in 2018 to become the 154th country member of the global charitable community. On December 3, 2019, the country celebrates this day for the second time. Giving Tuesday unites the country around good deeds and proves once again that everyone can give joy.
