Raben Transport launches second own HVO100 filling station in Gliwice

Sustainability and the decarbonisation of transport are not just goals but concrete actions for Raben Group. In June 2025, Raben Transport launched its second own HVO100 biofuel filling station in Poland. The new station is located in Gliwice and will support the further expansion of low-emission transport services.

This is another step taken in pursuit of the CO2 emissions reduction in road transport. Since 2022, Raben Transport has been gradually deploying a fleet of vehicles running on 100% HVO100 biofuel, which reduces greenhouse gas emissions by up to 90% compared to traditional diesel. At present, 95 trucks are already carrying out transport services using HVO100 at the Group level.

We see great potential in alternative fuels such as HVO100, which can be implemented without technological changes in the fleet. Thanks to the new station in Gliwice, we are increasing our operational independence and flexibility in route planning - emphasises Andrzej Wardyński, Domestic Transport Director at Raben Transport.

The second HVO100 station in Gliwice is an addition to the company's infrastructure - the first one was commissioned in November 2024 in Gądki near Poznań. Both locations provide continuous access to green fuel for Raben Transport's fleet.

The commissioning of another station is not only an investment in infrastructure, but also a clear signal that Raben Transport is consistently delivering on its commitments under the Group's Sustainability Strategy and the targets approved by SBTi to reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 60.4% by 2032 against 2020 values. With this in mind, Raben Transport is planning to achieve a 10% share of alternative fuel vehicles in its fleet as early as 2025 and to increase this to 75% by 2030.
