Food Collection 2025: record solidarity thanks to thousands of donors and Raben

2025.12.05

In the spring round of the Food Collection, held on Saturday, April 26, more than 518 tons of food and hygiene products were gathered in over 2,500 stores across the country - about 10% more than last year. Donations went to food banks and then to seniors, single parents, families in crisis, and people without homes; they mainly replenish long-life supplies and basic hygiene items. A key role was played by Raben Logistics Czech, which has been providing logistics for the tenth year and this year transported 40.5 tons of aid from seven regions, deploying around 20 drivers and working together with retail chains, volunteers, and regional food banks. Record participation of more than 5,100 volunteers helped organize the collection and explain to people how to contribute.

The autumn Food Collection took place on November 8. More than 2,800 stores and 6,025volunteers joined in, and 719 tons of food and hygiene products were collected -15% more than last time. Online donating is also growing. Raben transported 53.3 tons of donations.

Logistics and rapid pickup from large retail chains are crucial. Our sincere thanks go to the drivers and coordinators of Raben Logistics Czech, who spent the weekend collecting high-volume donations from stores so that help could reach those in need as quickly as possible.

This year’s result once again showed that solidarity has strong roots in the Czech Republic, and even a small donation can make a big difference.
