More than one hundred thousand square meters of exhibition space, tens of thousands of visitors from around the world, thousands of exhibitors from dozens of countries - this is a brief description of Transport Logistic, the prestigious meeting of representatives of the transport, logistics, IT and supply chain management industry, which has been organized in Munich for over 40 years.
Fair way – fair play
Once again Raben Group will present itself at a stand with an area of 130 m2, No. 402, in Pavilion A5. Every day, visitors will be able to meet around 40 experts who will be happy to answer questions related to various areas of logistics. On addition, there will be information about new connections and other novelties in the offer.
Raben will pay special attention to an innovative tool called ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival), which is the result of research and development activities - hence the leitmotif of the stand: ETA - fair way. This new functionality, offered to customers from the beginning of this year, allows for tracking the shipment in real time, and thus - determine the delivery time with an accuracy of two hours. It proves that the logistics industry has more in common with sport than it might seem. The supply chain has many characteristics of the relay race, in which speed and efficient operation during a multi-stage effort as well as teamwork to achieve a common goal matter most. In addition, ETA transfers the sports principle of fair play to the field of logistics, which is characterized by transparency, fair approach to the customer and reliable information.
Plans for the future and chronicle of achievements
- We are hoping to see you at our stand, which will become a venue for an inspiring exchange of views and - we believe- for shaping ideas and trends - says Ewald Raben, CEO, Raben Group. - The Munich Fair is a fixed and important date in our calendar. It provides an opportunity to meet our customers and make new contacts, get to know industry news, talk about plans for the future and, above all, present our services, products and achievements of the past two years.
In fact, participation in each edition of the fair, organized in a two-year cycle, is a specific documentation of the subsequent stages of development of Raben Group. Currently, the Group operates in 12 European countries, where it employs 10 thousand employees and has over 1.15 million m2 of diversified warehouse capacity. Since Transport Logistic 2017 Raben, among others, has launched new international connections (including to Italy), and its own independent transport network in Germany thanks to numerous acquisitions on that market. What is more, the company has increased its warehouse capacity and opened new branches in Poland, the Czech Republic and Romania. This period also covers the acquisition of shares in an Italian business, establishment of cooperation with a Turkish partner and, finally, intensive work of Genius Lab, the research and development department, crowned with the implementation of innovative solutions. You can learn more about all this at the beginning of June in Munich.
