The total of 34 people took part in the contest. Of these, 17 were the forklift operarators and 17 - drivers of electric cars. Before the start of the competition, all participants went through mandatory safety instructions and passed a medical examination. Then followed the theoretical part where the participants had to answer 5 questions. Each wrong answer was plus 5 seconds to the overall score. The competition consisted of 2 races separately for the drivers of forklifts and electric cars. The drivers had to demonstrate the skill of managing the forklifts and moving goods, the knowledge of relevant safety standards, speed and work precision.At the end of the first race, the judges determined 8 finalists in each race. In the final round, the finalists were supposed to “draw” letter "R" from the pallets the on the floor (forklift drivers) and load / unload the truck (electric car drivers). The three finalists were determined by calculating the total time for 2 races. The winners received a TV, a smartphone and an electric drill for the first, second and third place, respectively.
"Safety when working in a warehouse is one of the key areas of the SHE project (Safety, Health, Environment) in Raben Group. That is why special attention was paid to safety during the races because observance of all norms of safe behaviour minimizes the risk of accidents. And this, in turn, leads to the establishment of comfortable working conditions", - commented Oksana Terpylo, PR and Marketing Specialist in Raben Ukraine.

1st place - Zagrodsky Sergey
2nd place - Borovik Yuri
3rd place - Dorofeev Ruslan
"I have very positive impressions from the contest. I believe that such events are very important and extremely necessary for the motivation of the blue collars. That is why this is only the beginning which, I am sure, will become a good tradition for our company”, - shares his impressions Boris Khruslov.
