In the summer of 2013 Raben Trans European Hungary Kft. organized a donation campaign among its employees, partners and customers to jointly support the children living in SOS Children’s Villages.
Raben Trans European Hungary Kft.’s intentions were welcome by other enthusiastic supporters as well. Raben Trans European Hungary Kft.’s employees and partners set an outstanding example, as they collected several pallets of clothes and toys. In addition, the Raben Group also helped SOS Children’s Villages with one of its services provided as a forwarder, i.e. by distributing the donations to all the three premises, i.e. Battonya, Kőszeg and Kecskemét.
The donations were handed over in October 2013. The children were exceptionally excited when they opened the packages. Raben Trans European Hungary Kft. and Gemini HR Kft. gave their donations to those who needed them most, i.e. orphaned and abandoned children.
”For a corporate group like the Raben Group, who is dedicated to Corporate Social Responsibility, it is important to do its best to help those in need first of all through its professional expertise in forwarding and warehousing, and if a corporate group has dedicated employees like the Raben Group does, who are eager to cooperate in noble causes, then such a company is a really strong, socially responsible company. I am delighted that Raben Trans European Hungary Kft. could help SOS Children’s Villages with its devoted work.” - said Ágnes Bolyki, Marketing, PR Specialist and CSR Coordinator of Raben Trans European Hungary Kft
”The Hungarian Foundation of SOS Children’s Villages is 30 years old, so we are celebrating the 30th anniversary of laying the foundation stone of the first SOS Children’s Village in Hungary in Battonya this year. It is the attitude and actions of companies like Raben Trans European Hungary Kft. that enable us to have so many wonderful memories during the last 30 years, and such campaigns are obviously essential for our existence. We are grateful to Raben Trans European Hungary Kft. both for its donations and for transporting the donations to our premises, significantly contributed to the daily livelihood of the villages.” - said Szabolcs Németh, the Regional Director of SOS Children’s Villages.
