October 24th 2015 took place big event called E-Commerce Congress dedicated to business processes and management of Ukrainian e-commerce market companies. Raben Ukraine for the first time took part in this event and is willing to share its experiences. It is no secret that today the market of e-commerce is actively growing, despite the crisis. After all, during the crisis the market needs innovative solutions, especially in the framework of the strategy and planning that will provide new opportunities for business development. Many market players switch to online sales channels, seeing it as a huge prospect. The Congress program consisted of two parallel panels, and was dedicated to the topical issues of the industry. State attempts to regulate the industry by the law "About electronic commerce", the problem of "last mile" in goods delivery from online stores, strategic marketing and brand value, online customer service, e-com databases and their proper use, fulfillment operations and investments - these and other questions were hotly discussed by panelists and guests of the Congress.Svetlana Shramova, participant of fulfillment panel and Contract Logistic Manager in Raben Ukraine is sharing her impressions about the Congress: «Few years ago the fancy word “fulfillment” wasn’t so familiar to public and not so few companies could boast of such service in its portfolio. Today, we can confidently say that the demand for fulfillment created an offer in a short time, stimulating at the same time 3PL providers to build up its operational processes to the needs and specificities of e-com market. This, in turn, made it possible to quickly respond to customer needs by, for example, versatile IT solutions and thus created the most attractive offer for the customer and end users."
