Raben supports road safety

2014.06.20
Within the framework of the ROSEE (Road Safety in South-East European regions) program, the GRSP Hungary Association held the Road Safety Family Day at the parking lot of a hypermarket in Dunakeszi on June 14, 2014. This road safety event was organised in cooperation with the local government of Dunakeszi and the Police Department of Pest County and it was supported by the Raben Trans European Hungary Kft.
The program was aimed at making local residents familiar with the activities carried out by the GRSP within the framework of the ROSEE program in Dunakeszi and drawing their attention to local road safety issues identified during the different tasks undertaken. In the course of the program, information leaflets related to this topic, and financed by Raben Trans European Hungary Kft., were handed out to local residents. Children of the families visiting the hypermarket could practice on a Highway Code skill course how to ride their bikes in conformity with the regulations and the adults could try out the safety belt simulator and the drunk glasses. Written tests on traffic regulations had been prepared for both adults and children so that they could check their theoretical knowledge as well.  At the one-day event first-aid demonstrations were also held with help of oxyologists, who demonstrated what to do if you are the first to arrive at a scene of an accident.
“Last year’s Customer Satisfaction Survey had a special character. In terms of the Corporate Social Responsibility, we donated one Euro for each completed questionnaire to a locally selected non-governmental organisation and tried to motivate our Customers this way to do the questionnaire.  The full amount raised in Hungary for completing the questionnaires was donated to the Partnership for Global Road and Safety Partnership in order to support this road safety action in Pest County. We are planning similar actions in the future since road safety is a priority for us as a logistics service provider.” – added Ágnes Bolyki, PR and Marketing Specialist, CSR Coordinator.
