The Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta asked for assistance in the transportation of donated food supplies in March 2015.
Raben Trans European Hungary Kft. carried 4 tonnes of donated supplies to regional centres in Kecskemét and Gyöngyös. This large donation of the Charity Service can feed more than one thousand and three hundred families, old and homeless people and people with disabilities."It is important to care for the society and the world around us, as well as to take responsibility and give support when needed. As a haulage company, we can use our experience, trained staff and extensive network to the benefit of others in such assignments. We hope that the donation will give support to many people.” – said Ágnes Bolyki, PR and marketing expert, CSR co-ordinator."Generally the donors supporting those in need are thanked for their help while other organisations assisting the charity organisations in their activities are mentioned relatively rarely yet their role is equally important.” – stressed Lajos Győri-Dani, Executive Vice President of Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta. "With the help of Raben Trans European Hungary Kft. we managed to overcome the distance between the donor’s site in Transdanubia and the people in need of help in Heves and Bács-Kiskun county, and delivered a large amount of food to areas which needed help the most.”
