As Christmas is fast approaching everyone feels the need to do something for a good cause and help others. This year Raben Trans European Hungary Kft. decided to make presents for Customers in collaboration with a Hungarian nonprofit organisation.
Thanks to the sedulous work of the disadvantaged and disabled colleagues of IRMÁK Közhasznú Nonprofit Kft. (IRMÁK Public Benefit Nonprofit Ltd.), our Christmas candles are now shipshape and ready to go. “This collaboration was a great experience to all the participants. First, this request seemed to be a very difficult undertaking, as — although the task itself is simple — it requires a great deal of attention at the same time. Having given more thought to the process and execution, our colleagues managed to complete the job efficiently and successfully. Knowing that a prestigious logistics company will give our creations to their Customers motivated everyone taking part in the process to pay even greater attention to detail. Even simple tasks mean great challenges to disadvantaged and disabled people but at the same time they really felt motivated and enthusiastic,” said Bence Szebenszki, General Manager of IRMÁK Group. “Raben Group, being a socially responsible company, considers business cooperation with such social enterprises extremely important. As well as helping the organisation financially with such projects, our company primarily aims to raise public awareness of disadvantaged and disabled people being helpful and important part of our society,” commented Ágnes Bolyki, CSR Coordinator at Raben Trans European Hungary Kft.“The IRMÁK Group, including IRMÁK Közhasznú Nonprofit Kft., established in September 2000, was glad to accept the cooperation request from Raben Trans European Hungary Kft. Such and similar projects help us reach our main goal i.e. to get our approximately 500 mentally disabled patients noticed and accepted by the public. We employ 180 disadvantaged and disabled colleagues who were all utterly excited to take part in the preparation of the presents. I am confident that we can expand the scope of our partnership, thus we can make our patients and our company more known to the public,” added Bence Szebenszki, General Manager.
