Only four out of ten Millenials from developed countries see operations carried our business as ethical.
Soon this young generation of employees will dominate the job market hence their expectations towards employers are so significant. Many companies care not only for the ethics inside the organisation but also for the ethical chain of values. They engage their suppliers by implementing codes of ethics or opening special communication channels used for submitting information about violations. Puls Biznesu, PKN ORLEN, GE and PwC organised a contest aimed at selecting and awarding companies which operate in compliance with ethical rules. According to the organisers of the initiative:
"The contest recognised companies whose work aims at building and reinforcing organisational culture based on ethics and values in the most comprehensive and systemic manner, which show the highest activity in this field in comparison with other enterprises in Poland.[1]Raben Group was among the laureates. Marcin Turski, the Sales and Customer Service Director of Fresh Logistics, who received the award for the Group, commented:"The award we have been presented with is of exceptional importance. Organisational culture of our company is based on ethics and values. We also ensure that the same standards are followed by our suppliers. The contest provided an opportunity for self-assessment, verification of areas which still need improving, but it was also a confirmation that the path we have chosen is the right one." It is worth mentioning that in the annual Customer Satisfaction Survey Raben Group researches the area of corporate social responsibility also asking about the ethical aspect.
