Serving the automotive industry has been one of the core competencies at Raben Group for years. More than 20% of Raben Group business comes from this sector and these include logistics for OEMs and first tier suppliers. Raben Group delivers components for cars and trucks, such as batteries, tyres, suspension and interior elements, etc. We work according to commonly agreed SOPs (Standard Operation Procedures) and monitor quality KPI (Key Performance Indicator) on a regular basis. We specialize in procurement logistics which means uninterrupted production for customers. We offer our solutions for small, medium-sized and large companies.
We have all the necessary infrastructure (e.g. modern storage space, own dense transport network, consolidation cross dock warehouses, modern IT solutions) and the know-how to offer quality services for this sector. We also have specialized equipment, for example: mega trailers, tyre racks and spare part storage units for service stations. Our experience allows us to offer more cost-effective solutions for the automotive supply chain, such as intermodal transport. Thanks to the diversified transport fleet adjusted to these product types, we are able to render both international and domestic distribution services (groupage, part and full truck loads).
Despite the fact that the automotive sector is a very demanding industry, in the recent years Raben Group has received several awards for servicing this particular branch. The first was the award for the overnight deliveries in Poland for the automotive after-sales business. Later CJ International (a member of Raben Group) received the General Motors 2007 Supplier of the Year Award for the significant contribution to GM’s global product and performance achievements. A few years later, Fenthol & Sandtmann (also a member of Raben Group) received the 2012 Porsche Supplier Award.
