Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point. The HACCP system has been developed in order to diagnose and control hazards to health quality of food that may occur in the process of food production, storage and transport. It is also the system that monitors and brings under control all hazards essential as far as the consumer safety and his/her health protection are concerned. From the beginning of 2004 all companies in Poland dealing with food production and circulation are obliged to implement the HACCP system. It refers both to producers and to companies dealing with distribution, trade, catering, etc. (the Act of 11th May 2001 on health conditions of food and nutrition, revision of 30th October 2003).
Therefore Raben companies in Poland have developed a system of food servicing for fresh products.
Raben companies in Poland provide logistics services in the field of transport, storage and distribution also for companies offering fresh products. Basic product groups serviced by Raben companies include: candy and chocolate confectionery, fruit and vegetable products, concentrates, drinks, sauces, spice, sweetened almonds, raisins, nuts and figs, food additives, coffee and tea.
