One of the biggest logistics mergers this year in the Czech Republic have been successfully completed

On May 1st, 2012, the logistics market in the Czech Republic witnessed the successful completion of the merger of logistics companies Raben Logistics Czech a.s., Transkam-Logistik, spol. s r.o. and Raben Trans European Czech s.r.o. (formerly Wincanton Czech Republic s.r.o.). The joined companies have formed one which is now among the biggest logistics providers in this country. The new company is called Raben Logistics Czech s.r.o.

 
Raben Lietuva is one of the strongest in Lithuania 2011.
At the end of last year Raben Lietuva was awarded as one of the strongest Companies on the Lithuanian market in 2011 "Creditinfo Lietuva".
 
Raben Trans European Hungary among main logistic companies in Hungary

March 1, 2012, was the date of the merger of Raben companies in Hungary. As of that day, Raben Trans European Hungary has become one of the biggest logistic companies operating in Hungary.

Information on a merger of Raben Trans European Poland sp. z o.o. with Raben Polska sp. z o.o.

According to earlier announcements we would like to inform that Raben Trans European Poland sp. z o.o. seated in Łoziska merged with Raben Polska sp. z o.o. seated in Gadki on 2 January 2012. The merger had a form of a transfer of entire assets of Raben Trans European Poland sp. z o.o. (Target Company) to Raben Polska sp. z o.o. (Bidding Company) in return for shares given by the Bidding Company to the shareholder of the Target Company, that is in the mode defined in article 492 § 1 item 1) of the Code of Commercial Companies (merger through acquisition).

 
Raben has become one of the largest companies in the logistics industry in Slovakia.
Raben Logistics Slovakia, Transkam – Slovakia and Raben Trans European Slovakia (formerly Wincanton) was merged as of the January 1, 2012. With this merger it has become one of the largest companies in the logistics industry in Slovakia. The newly established company operates under the name of Raben Logistics Slovakia. It is to be the successor of all three above-mentioned companies.

Proper use of baby car seats and infant restraints – social action of Raben Group

Raben Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk moves its depot to a new distribution centre

Recently, Raben Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk has moved its depot to a new modern distribution centre. Thanks to the new facility company will be able to meet the existing demand in range of contract logistics in the Eastern region of Ukraine. It will also ensure “just in time” deliveries of the shipments. It is an “A” class distribution centre with the total area of 6500 m2, 1750 m2 of which is for cross-docking and 4750 m2 for storage.

 
Raben Group has finalized the acquisition of German Road Network and operations in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia from Wincanton.

Raben Group announced the plan of taking over the companies at the beginning of June and on September 01, 2011 the transaction was completed.

 
Raben Logistics Germany invests in a depot

Raben opens a new warehouse at the depot in Würzburg/Reichenberg. Thanks to this investment, the company is able to optimize services continuously. With the enlargement of its capacities by 15 %, Raben has gained an opportunity to react dynamically to the growing market.

 
Road Surcharge in Raben Polska

As of 1st July 2011 on selected national roads and some sections the electronic toll (e-toll) is going to be collected. This toll is a mandatory payment of public character paid for the use of road infrastructure for vehicles of maximum total weight exceeding 3.5 t. In relation to the above, as of 1st July 2011 Raben Polska is going to introduce a Road Surcharge.

 
Raben Logistics Germany invests in a depot

On 17th Raben opens new warehouse at the depot in Wuppertal. Thanks to this investment, Raben is able to optimize services continuously. With the enlargement of capacities by 35%, Raben has gained the opportunity to react dynamically to the growing market.

European logistics operator, Raben Group, has today announced the acquisition of Wincanton’s German Road Network activities and businesses in Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia, subject to conditions.

 
Raben Ukraine wins the tender organized by Electrolux

Raben Ukraine has won the 3-year contract with Electrolux, thus opening a new segment, namely large-scale household appliances, in its operations in Ukraine. Raben Ukraine gives this project the full range of warehousing services in its distribution centre in Brovary, Kyiv region, including customs clearance and distribution of Electrolux products throughout Ukraine.

 
Raben offers the new connection between the Czech Republic, Austria and Hungary

The Central and Eastern European countries have shown considerable potential and thus, as of 1 April 2011, new regular export lines between the Czech Republic and Austria are to be established and current transport lines to Hungary change to daily operation.

Raben Logistics Czech opens a new branch

In mid-January, Raben Logistics Czech officially launched operations in the North Bohemian region. The new business unit is located in the very heart of Northern Bohemia – in the city of Liberec. It is already the fiveth Raben’s branch in the Czech Republic.

 
The new INCOTERMS rules change their name to INCOTERMS® 2010.

We would like to inform, that International Chamber of Commerce have revised version of INCOTERMS that becomes valid from 1st of January 2011.
